Journal
of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved
Meharry Medical College's Journal of Health Care for the Poor
and Underserved (JHCPU) is the nation's only journal on the
health and health care of low-income, minority and other medically
underserved populations in North America. Adopted as its official
journal by the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved
(ACU), and published for Meharry by Johns Hopkins University
Press, JHCPU is listed by the Kaiser Family Foundations as
one of the nation's leading health policy journals.

The American Journal of Public Health (AJPH) is dedicated
to original work in research, research methods, and program
evaluation in the field of public health. The journal also

practice, and education." All published papers have undergone
rigorous peer review (only one out of five submitted papers

News
Florida Health News is a free, independent, not-for-profit online news service focusing on "Florida-centric" health policy and financing issues.
The website posts daily news summaries and original news articles. The site also features capsules of studies with a Florida angle, tracks health-related legislation and lists key meetings, conferences and other events. Florida Health News offers a free electronic summary of health news headlines delivered Monday through Friday. The news service is sponsored by the Florida Health Policy Center, with funding from Winter Park Health Foundation, Health Foundation of South Florida, and Palm Healthcare Foundation.

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is a federal agency
within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. CMS administers
the Medicare and Medicaid programs - two national health care programs
that benefit about 75 million Americans. Together with the Health Resources
and Services Administration (HRSA), CMS runs the State Children's Health
Insurance Program (SCHIP), a program that is expected to cover many of

The Commonwealth Fund is a private foundation that supports independent
research on health and social issues and makes grants to improve health
care practice and policy. The Fund is dedicated to helping people become
more informed about their health care, and improving care for vulnerable

Americans, and the uninsured. The Fund's two national program areas are
improving health insurance coverage and access to care and improving the
quality of health care services. An international program in health policy

Association of State Medicaid Directors
The National Association of State Medicaid Directors (NASMD) is a bipartisan,
